General Terms and Conditions of Sale
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs) govern the sales of products made on the site monpremierlivre.com, published by Camille, sole proprietor (micro-enterprise), 20 Rue de Rosheim, 67000 Strasbourg, France — SIRET 107 902 017 00014. Any order placed on the Site implies full and complete acceptance of these T&Cs.
1. Products
The Site offers for sale felt quiet books intended primarily for preschool children aged 0 to 6, as well as gift cards. The recommended age for use for each book is indicated on its product page, along with its essential characteristics (dimensions, material).
2. Pricing
Prices are indicated in euros. As the micro-enterprise benefits from the VAT exemption scheme (Article 293 B of the CGI), the prices displayed do not include VAT. Delivery costs are specified before the final validation of the order.
3. Ordering
The customer selects the products of their choice, adds them to their cart, and then validates their order by providing their contact details and proceeding to payment. A confirmation email summarizing the order is sent automatically after the payment is validated.
4. Payment
Payment is made online by credit card via Shopify Payments, a PCI-DSS certified secure payment solution. Information regarding the payment method is never stored by the Site publisher. See our Secure Payment page for more details.
5. Delivery
Orders are prepared with care, with a systematic quality control before shipment, usually within 48 to 72 hours. A tracking number is provided by email as soon as the order is shipped.
The Site delivers to France, other European Union countries, and Canada. The list of available delivery countries is displayed at checkout.
Standard delivery costs are €9.99 per order. Delivery is free on orders over €90. The applicable fees are displayed before payment is validated.
For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties or local taxes may be required by the destination country; these remain the responsibility of the recipient.
6. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Articles L.221-18 et seq. of the Consumer Code, the customer has 14 days from receipt of their order to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to provide a reason or pay a penalty. To exercise this right, simply inform the publisher by email at monpremierlivre.com@gmail.com, stating the order number.
7. Returns and refunds
Products must be returned in their original condition. The refund is made within a maximum period of 14 days from receipt of the returned product, using the same payment method used for the order, unless otherwise agreed. In the event of a parcel lost or damaged during transport, the customer is invited to contact the publisher with their order number so that an investigation can be opened with the carrier.
8. Legal guarantees
All products sold on the Site benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L.217-3 et seq. of the Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code), at no extra cost.
9. Liability
The publisher cannot be held responsible for the non-performance of the contract in the event of force majeure, stock shortages, or disruptions or total or partial strikes, particularly of postal services and means of transport.
10. Consumer mediation
In accordance with Articles L.616-1 and R.616-1 of the Consumer Code, in the event of a dispute not resolved directly with the publisher, the customer may use a consumer mediator free of charge. The customer can also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform, accessible at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
11. Applicable law
These T&Cs are subject to French law. Any dispute shall, in the absence of an amicable resolution, be subject to the competent French courts, subject to mandatory provisions applicable to consumers.
